In version 2.0 there will be a new object in the Inventory called a "Display Text". This object will allow you to display stationary text (or image) in a 3D world.
![]() If the "Display Image instead of text" option is selected it will display the texture specified in the texture field. If that texture has been assigned a video the video will be shown. When the 3D view is moved the text / image will remain stationary in the view. Bill Last edited by Bill Nordgren; 05-28-2008 at 11:13 AM. |

Text in 3D and page points are now able to text wrap. Many have asked about this and it is not as simple as you might think. 2D and 3D text are worlds apart.
![]() The text will wrap on the first space in characters of the specified number. Bill Last edited by Bill Nordgren; 05-28-2008 at 11:14 AM. |

Will this be a free upgrade for loyal users of Dryfork v1.5 (I hope)? Thanks for making such a great product.

Can you give some more examples of the new features. This is great. Almost all the things I wanted are now here. Now if only I could import my PowerPoint files!

We have added a new object to version 2.0 called a Dynamic Light object. Here is a brief description:
Dynamic Light The dynamic light is used to control the light sources found in the 3D View settings under the “other” tab. ![]() When you drag a dynamic light object from the inventory into the 3D view window it will control the light source specified in the properties window. ![]() Once you have specified the light source you can move the light around in the 3D View window to create the desired lighting effect. You can change the color of the light by pressing the edit button for the light source in the 3D View window settings under the “other” tab. ![]() You can also assign a dynamic light to follow a set of Way Points the same way an animated shape will follow a set of Way Points. This allows the designer to create dynamic lighting for a page or 3D World. Last edited by Bill Nordgren; 05-28-2008 at 11:15 AM. |

I just noticed that you are selling Dryfork for $59.00. That is crazy! I paid $400 and it has been worth every penny! Why are you doing that?

59 bucks! This is wrong. People are going to think this software is not worth much. I would pay $600. Do I get a refund? You can not even buy a decent 3D model for 59 bucks... AND YOU PROVIDE OVER 300!
This is not a very good idea in my book. Doug |

Well people seem to be buying it...
Maybe we will have more users on the community that will start posting more. It can only help everyone. Tech Geek |

By the way. The $59.00 price has ended. We added several hundred new Dryfork users. I wish more of them would become active on this forum but I think they will over time.
Any feedback on version 2 would be appreciated. Bill |
